STRICKLAND CONSULTING INC. TEAMS WITH BASE TECHNOLOGIES, INC. ON MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT AWARD FROM DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE SYSTEMS INTEGRATION, DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES III (D/SIDDOMS III)

GERMANTOWN, Maryland, January 21, 2004 – The Department of Defense Systems Integration, Design, Development, Operations and Maintenance Services III (D/SIDDOMS III) recently named Base Technologies, Inc. and its teaming partners as one of the awardees of a multi-year contract. As a teaming partner with Base Technologies, Strickland Consulting now has the opportunity to sell IT services to its clients under this new contracting vehicle.

The D/SIDDOMS III contract provides the Military Health System (MHS), its components, and the Department of Veterans Affairs the ability to issue individual task orders for services, equipment, materials and facilities to design, test, and operate MHS technology systems and system components. As a result, the contracts provide MHS with a new means to access a wide variety of contractors and contract-types without paying costly contract-use fees. The total value of the contract award is estimated at approximately $8 billion over ten years.
