Women-Owned Small Business Program (WOSB)
The Women-Owned Small Business program [WOSB] is a program developed to increase government contracting opportunities for women-owned, small businesses. Under this program, contracting officers set aside bidding opportunities for certified WOSBs. This program became effective on April 1, 2011 and is administered by the Small Business Administration [SBA]. Detailed information about the WOSB program may be found here.
